Jean Philippe is a graduate of Poitiers University (master in construction and urban planning law) and has been qualified as a lawyer in Paris in 1992.

After spending more than ten years within the French law firm Rambaud Martel where he became a partner in 1994, he joined the US firm Proskauer Rose in 2006 as a partner in the Litigation & Arbitration department, before moving to the international firm DLA Piper in 2008 where he headed the Dispute & Resolution department at the Paris Office and went on to become Managing Partner in 2010.

Jean Philippe focuses mainly on public and private construction law, advising clients and defending their interests particularly within the framework of large-scale projects.

His work both in construction and public law is recognised in the legal guides Chambers Europe, and Legal 500 Europe and Paris.
